The Bolsover Community Centre is over 100 years old. The hall is available for the public to rent as well as hosting various community organization's meetings. The Bolsver Pines Seniors Club have progressive euchre and contact bridge 7pm. Thursday evenings. The Women's Institute meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
Fair Havens began sixty years ago in 1941, from the vision of Pastor H.E. Irwin, Q.C. It was initially established by the Associated Gospel Churches, and continues to be soley owned by them, reflecting the values of the AGC ministry.
The Oaklands Bible Conference, which convened each summer on the shores of Lake Ontario in Burlington, relocated to its present location in 1941. From a very simple beginning Fair Havens has grown significantly over the years to the point where its impact is being felt by many thousands of people each year.
The Ministry at Fair Havens is year-round and includes conference, camp, various retreats and outdoor Christain Education. During the Summer Bible Conference at Fair Havens and the Children's Camp at Fair Glen, there are often well over 1000 people on the grounds. Throughout the rest of the year, they host retreats each weekend from churches, Christian organizations, schools, and youth groups.
