Grandview Public School is part of Trillium Lakelands District School Board. It is the most southern school in the board, located on Highway 7A near Highway 35, and close to the village of Bethany. Grandview Public School serves children from grades Junior Kindergarten to four. The school has a student population of 480.

The Bethany Hills School is a small independent school located near the village of Bethany. It is comprised of a co-educational junior school for day students from grade 1 to 6, and a senior school for girls, from grades 7 to university and college entrance level. The senior school offers both day and boarding facilities. Transportation for students is available between the school and the Port Hope, Peterborough, and Lindsay areas. The curriculum follows the Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines and offers a strong academic program. Classroom instruction is supplemented by field trips, theatre, gallery, museums, science centre visits, guest speakers and other events. Riding, skiing and snowboarding are offered as special sports. Class size averages approximately 12 students.
